Ciarán graduated from the School of Architecture, Bolton Street Dublin in 1984.He became a member of the RIAI in 1988 and is a Registered Architect with the RIAI from the start of the register in 2009. On graduating Ciarán established a group practice working on commercial and community based projects. In 1987 he joined the London practice of Hunter Price Dexter Smith and oversaw the redevelopment of Kildangan Stud, Co. Kildare for Sheik Mohammad of Dubai.
Ciarán joined Irish Airport Authority in 1989 and worked as Project Architect on a wide variety of airport projects. Appointed to the Senior Management Group at Dublin Airport in 1996, he assumed responsibility for the Terminal and landside developments. He offers considerable experience and insight in airport design.
Ciaran joined Traynor O’Toole Architects in 2000 and has since been responsible for delivery of a wide range of commissions for Public and Private Sector Clients. He has considerable experience in the design of large scale urban design projects from local authority regenerations to sustainable corporate office developments.
Ciarán is currently coordinating development of design proposals for residential, stadium and airport commissions in Central Africa. In addition he is assisting a number of Receivers in realising value on a number of distressed assets at home.
